that would of kept me from signing the lease.

6 month extension on the lease I signed in Oct 2008 and they wanted rent for February 2009 even though we bounced in march because we were given a letter from the board that said we had 30 days to leave.

Had they told me they still didn't secure the apartment to be ok to rent (it's a co-op so you need to pay fees and go before the board to ask permission to do so) I would of never signed the lease.  However, they tricked me by saying everything had been taken care of so I signed the lease.

Oh and at the time of the hearing they didn't know if their names were even on the deed or their parents were because those upper class spoiled brats were given a vacation home as a present to rent out and pay their mortgage.

I win!

this section is still problematic:

Few rules for teh legal purposes, we observe the civil right of anonymous free speech of our users so refrain from denying that of anybody here.  Basically no outting of non-public figures. Also, no pedophilia posts, no death threats or stalking, and try to tease but not harass people.  You need thick skin to survive here.

Beyond the grammatical issue of faulty parallelism, "try to tease but not harass people" is vague.  The more ambiguous rules are, the more time and interpretation they require of administrators to enforce.

Somehow I don't think they'd stomp off in a huff if I were gone though.  Only seems to work when one of their multiple uids gets the banhammer.  Then they go somewhere where they can keep the whole traveling nonsense circus together.

Their theatrics give me the same "wtf?!" feeling (5.00 / 1)

That I had when I went to see the play "Blasted" on the west end of London courtesy of a poor kid scholarship for a semester abroad.

I hadn't read the play for class so I had no idea about the plot line.

There I was, in the audience, a bit tipsy when it began. The play consisted of three people on a tiny stage.  The first two were a man and a girl, both with some type of device on them that was obviously for a physical handicap each one had. The third revealed himself later on as the aggressive soldier but he came barreling out of the curtains on his hands because he had no legs.  When it ended I thought it was the greatest thing ever and assumed the handicaps were what the characters had in the play, that is, the characters had those handicaps in the actual play.  I wondered why my classmates had this look on their face like they had just witnessed a massacre seeing how I thought the play was great.  I later found out the actual play never called for the characters to be handicapped and that my professor bought tickets to the play not realizing it was being produced by a handicap theater group.  I read the play and realized that the play is messed up to begin with but the performance with that theatre group for those who read the play beforehand was extra special for them.  All the while I enjoyed the performance more knowing nothing about it and taking it in as it was.  Afterwards I reflected on all of this and got a feeling of "wtf?!" that I hadn't experienced since that day.

That was until I saw donkey/socrat/other one man theater that played out here and everywhere else.

Some things are better when taken at face value because when you dig deep you realize the sad reality.
