Look at your settings page and see how many diaries are supposed to be listed on "Other Diary Pages," because right now that page is blank. I don' t know if that will fix it, but I'd start there.

I'm still trying to figure out comment listing issue. There's no template for it... unless I'm blind. But I think it should have been part of the default set-up.

Make recommended list only 3 (or 4) diaries long (0.00 / 0)
so recent diaries are visible when you call up the page. Peeder's list was way too long and pointless since people just used recommend to say "I agree with the politics of this diary" rather than to say "this is a great diary." Aside from how few recommends it took/takes to get on a long list.
